Late Notice & Cancellation Policy

At MS Dental, we value your time and strive to provide the best possible care for all our patients. To support the smooth running of our clinic and ensure that appointment times remain available for those who need them, we kindly ask for advance notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and we will always be understanding in genuine emergencies.

Notification Requirements

To avoid a late notice fee, please contact us by 1:00 pm according to the following time frames:

  • Initial Consultations: 2 days prior to your appointment
  • Treatment Planning Appointments: 1 day prior to your appointment
  • Saturday Appointments: 2 days prior to your appointment
  • Appointments over 60 minutes: 2 days prior to your appointment

Late Notice Fee

  • $100 – for Initial Consultations, Saturday Appointments, and Appointments over 60 minutes
  • $50 – for all Treatment Planning Appointments

HiCaps
All our Dental Clinics are equipped with Hicaps Terminals. This means that we are able to process your Private Health Insurance and Medicare claims on the spot. So you are not required to physically take the claim to your Health Fund, saving you time and effort.

In addition to popular Health Funds like BUPA, Medibank Private, HCF, NIB, CBHS, there are many more Health Funds are processed through HiCaps. You can see the most up to date list here


Cash, Credit and Debit Cards (EFTPOS)
We accept Cash, Debit Card and Credit Cards. We accept Master Card too. We do not accept Diners Card or Personal Checks.


Bulk Billing – Child Dental Benefits Schedule
If your child is eligible for Bulk Billing under Child Dental Benefits Schedule, we process the payment through Medicare Easyclaim. So you are not required to pay anything from your pocket (unless additional treatment is carried out which is not covered by Child Dental Benefits Schedule scheme).


DVA Patients
If you are holding a Gold Card from DVA, you are not required to pay from your pocket. We claim electronically from DVA through our HiCaps terminal.


DentiCarePayment Plans
If you opt for DentiCare Payment Plan and your application is accepted, you are required to pay a 20% Deposit and balance will be covered by DentiCare Payment Plans.

Deposit can be paid by Cash, Debit Card of Credit Card. DentiCare Payment Plans will be debited from your Bank Account or Credit Card as per your instructions. These payments can be weekly, fortnightly, or monthly as per your agreement signed.


AfterPay (now avaliable in ALL Clinics)
Afterpay allows you to enjoy your smile now and pay for it in four equal fortnightly payments. With Afterpay you can spread out the cost of your dental treatment with no added interest, and no additional fees*.
